Imagine Learning Lab is a secular hybrid homeschool program serving families of K–6 learners. We believe education is most impactful when it honors the whole child—mind, heart, and body—and embraces the power of independent and guided play, our natural world, and community connection.

Founded by longtime educator and literacy specialist Fai Amoroso, Imagine Learning Lab is built upon 25 years of experience and a passion for helping every child reach his/her full potential. Here, the sky’s the limit, for everyone. Period.

About us

Our Philosophy

Learning through nature

Our curriculum brings students outdoors to observe weather patterns, cultivate gardens, and learn seasonal cycles. Whether registering bird calls on nature walks or investigating root systems through hands-on gardening, kids engage with real-world science—sparked by curiosity, not textbooks.

Hands-on discovery

Every day offers a new opportunity for creative play. Kids build birdhouses, paint landscapes from our garden, plant seeds, and craft stories—discovering connections across art, science, and literacy while reinforcing fine motor skills and self-expression.

Interest-based projects

Our curriculum is not one-size-fits-all. Projects emerge from each child's questions—whether building a model rocket or tracing their family origins, learners take charge, supported by educators who scaffold and extend exploration.

Community and compassion

We cultivate character just as much as academics. Group projects center on empathy, kindness, and conflict resolution. From buddy programs to cooperative challenges, students learn that compassion is at the heart of community.

Multi-age learning

Overlapping age groups fosters peer mentoring, leadership, and social skill development. Older students become role models; younger ones gain confidence. This dynamic environment builds collaboration and respect—mirroring the diverse real world.

Freedom

Our days balance structured lessons in literacy and math with open blocks for creative play. A flexible rhythm provides routine—three core in-person days, plus enrichment and field trips—while empowering children to learn at their own pace.
